Iain: the game for big law 2Ls!
Kaylars: hahahahaha
Kaylars: that is really really really funny
Kaylars: it is going on the blog
Second year law students (or "2Ls" as they are affectionately known) spend most of the school year trying to get a summer clerkship at a big law firm. Those who are successful will "work" at a big law firm and be banking the same as a first year associate, while being wined and dined. If (un)lucky, they will become the subject of an internet rumor. See below for more of the madness and mandatory fun. Click here to read an article from a couple of weeks back discussing a twist on the classic $60 summer associate lunch.
A Summer Associate's Weekend, an essay in pictures
The 2005 Summer Associate class at Roetzl & Andress enjoys the firm's social/recruiting event "Evening at the Races at Scioto Downs."A group shot of the summers from Powell Goldstein hang out on the 'links'.
I hope some firm somewhere thought it would be a good idea to tie the release of the final Harry Potter novel into a summer associate event. Now those would make for awesome pictures for the internets.
In other law school news, a new documentary about law school life is being released this month. I actually want to go see it, despite it being about law students. The hosting site won't give me permission to host the video of the trailer- but you can follow the above link and watch it there.
Lame, dude.
I know.
