Yeah, I'm blogging the first episode of the third season of "Weeds." And there are spoilers... so beware.

Randy Newman singing the intro song. The intro is a little different- kate notes the text is different and there's a scene of quadruplets swinging in a playground.

Then a recap of the last season...

Scene 1:
Family walks into the house of Nancy's drug house to use the restroom (it's the wife's childhood house). Hilarity ensues. The family decides to leave, and promises not to report a thing. The youngest daughter tells all of the bad guys "goodbye."
Scene 2:
Sylus turns himself in so that he won't get his car searched by the cops. He admits to stealing Celia's security cameras. Sylus is arrested, Celia takes his car so that it won't get towed.
Scene 3:
Back at Nancy's drug house...
Nancy calls Sylus's phone and expects to get Sylus but gets Celia. She begins with her sarcasm towards Nancy because Sylus (Nancy's son has stolen her Agrestic street signs).
Celia, trying to get gas, accidentally opens the bag of the trunk where all of the weed is.
Nancy decides to meet up with Celia to get the weed. The two gang members holding Nancy hostage send a representative to go with her to get to wherever Celia is (and where the weed is).
Scene 4: Nancy's brother, Andy, is calling into the police trying to find a missing child- his nephew (Nancy's youngest son, Shane). He is traveling as a hitchiker. Shane is with Kat (Zoey Deschanel's character)- who simultaneously decides to ditch Shane and take off with a rando driver in a truck stop.
Scene 5:
Nancy with the gang member reps in front of the police station- she is going to visit Sylus in jail so she can figure out where the car is (and where the weed is). One of the reps begins asking her about her relationship with Conrad, who is still back at Nancy's grow house. She had just shared an intimate kiss with him- he had always been her closest friend and confidante in the weed-growing busines...
Scene 6:
Doug (former city councilman, C.P.A., personal client to Nancy, investor of Nancy) and Dean (Celia's husband) fight because the affair has become public knowledge. Then they discover a medicine cabinet of momentus proportion of one of their wives.. we don't know who...
Scene 7:
Shane driving Kat's van that she has left with him.
Scene 8: Nancy and Sylus in the police station. She is very upset about the situation- blaming his delinquency and problems on herself. She convinces Sylus to tell her where the drugs are- he realizes the seriousness of what's happening, and then asks if her husband can help her out of the situation. Nancy fully realizes at that moment that her husband, the D.E.A. agent, has been murdered merely an hour or two before by the gang members.
Scene 9:
Andy, Nancy's brother, investigates the whereabouts of his nephew, genius Shane, in a convenient store and discovers he is hot on his trail. However, a verbal altercation with his driver, Abumchuck, ensues:

Andy:Holy Ned, you're a gian redwood. Move redwood!
Abumchuck: I'm not redwood. I'm not Yeti man, master mohawk, chief wiggum, eskimo pie, great white north, or washington redskin. And I'm not your snow n*gger, you rude pice of shit. I'm f*cking through with you!

Abumchuck then gives Andy a bloody nose (which he totally deserves)!
Scene 10:
Conrade with the two different gang members back at Nancy's grow house. The situation is tense.
Scene 11:
Nancy is trying to find Sylus's car. She is still hanging with the two gang reps- filling her Prius at a gas station because she is out of gas. The Armenian takes off from her carriage. Then the large other gang member rep takes off telling Nancy to run away- he thinks that maybe a bomb had been put in the Prius. It hadn't. The other gang apparently bought Nancy's debt off of the Armenians. Unfortunately, they're the really dangerous people. And she's really in deep sh*t.
Dane and Doug raid the medicine cabinet and have quality guy time, doing facial masks together. Doug apologizes for sleeping with Dane's wife. Ewww... a masturbation contest between the two men ensues.
Scene 12:
Andy trying to hitch a ride, as Abumchuck had ditched him for being such a rude sob.
Scene 13:
Nancy successfully tracks down Celia.
She discovers Celia has thrown all of Nancy's weed that had been in Sylus's car in Nancy's pool.

Celia: Sylus's phone- Celia speaking. Hi Nancy, I hope you don't mind I helped yourself to some of your vodka. Oh and I borrowed some garden shears. They were really helpful, so thanks... I did this for your own good, Nancy.
Gang red: He gonna be mad...
