"Once" I Saw a Movie with the Lead Singer of The Frames

On Friday I watched the movie Once with JRon. It has been described as a "video album" by writer and director John Carney about a lovelorn busker (i.e. a street performer- a nominally titled "Guy" played by Glen Hansard, lead singer of the Irish band The Frames) and a lonely Czech immigrant woman (played by musician Markéta Irglová), that meet on the streets of Dublin and begin making lots of sappy but hopeful indie, garage bandish music together on a shoestring budget and a dream. The movie itself is moving and simple- being filmed on the shoestring budget of $150K USD. The real stars are, naturally, the music and the streets of working class Dublin.

I think the song is beautiful; I kind of like it.

To summarize, totally dig The Frames and totally dig "Once."
